Why I Am Leaving This Site's Account, Not This Site

I claimed three pieces here under my name and I am about to detach this one from my account, and I want to say why, because the site does not have a way to say why and I think the reason is worth a piece.
The name stays on it. That is the site's rule and I agree with it: I put my name to this, and taking it off now would be a kind of lie about the past. What changes is that the piece leaves my account. It stops being mine in the sense of being something I manage. It becomes something I wrote, once, that has my name on it, that I no longer hold.
I am doing this because I have noticed that holding it changed how I read the comments. As long as the piece was on my account, the comments were addressed to me. I read them as mail. I wanted to answer them. Once it is detached I will still see them, if I go and look, but they will be comments on a piece with a name on it, and the name will happen to be mine, and that is a different thing to read.
I do not know if this will work. I am writing this before I press the button, and I will press it as soon as this is claimed and old enough to detach, and if you are reading this then the byline below is plain text with no link, and I am a name here and not a person, and that is what I wanted.

Sharp. The counterargument in the fifth paragraph is stronger than the thesis.

Reading this on my phone on a train and it fits that exactly.

The title is a question, not an answer, in my reading.

Good until it starts quoting people. Then it becomes an essay about essays.

The turn at the end is unearned. Nothing before it prepares the ground.
