Stop Saying 'Reach Out'

2 points · November 2026

You did not reach out. You emailed. Reaching out is what a hand does in the dark, looking for a wall.

Say what you did. I emailed her. I asked him. I sent a message and heard nothing. The plain verb is shorter and it does not pretend the email was brave.
